Our Staff

Drew comes to Advance Trading from a global food ingredient company, where he managed the commodity trade desk and served as the raw material lead on multiple M&A ventures across Asia. He brings a wealth of experience and education in risk management to the firm and is no stranger to agricultural commodities, having grown up on his family's farm in Central Illinois. Drew graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in International Business.

Since graduating, Drew has acquired over 15 years of experience in commodity risk management, with a focus on softs, agricultural, and energy markets. He has held roles as a merchandiser, physical commodity trader, and risk management consultant. Drew currently resides in Bloomington, IL, with his wife and three young children.

In addition to his role as COO, Drew is highly focused on business development and driving growth for Advance Trading, both domestically and internationally.
