Born and raised in Quincy, IL, Kayla’s interest in agriculture started with her love of horses and agriculture classes in high school. Growing up she was involved in 4H, FFA, and various riding disciplines. Kayla first earned an Associates Degree of Arts from JWCC. From there she pursued a Bachelors degree in Agriculture Business with a minor in Animal Science from Oklahoma Panhandle State University.

In 2023 Kayla was Miss Rodeo Illinois where she traveled the country promoting rodeo and the western way of life. She believes that the future of agriculture is strong with the help of risk management tools and is passionate about helping with the growth of farm operations.
