Our Brokerage Team

Alex is a familiar face to ATI having worked as a broker assistant for two years following his graduation from Illinois State University with an economics degree.  He then transitioned to a cash role where for almost 9 years he worked as a grain merchandiser for Tremont Co-operative.  There Alex oversaw their merchandising, logistics, and hedging operations for the co-op. Alex has also spent time teaching classes for the GFAI’s Immersion Scholarship program and was heavily involved in the Developing Professionals program.  Currently, he serves on the NGFA’s Trade and Crop Technology committee after spending time with their International Trade and Agricultural Policies committee and also currently serves on Congressman Darin LaHood’s Ag Advisory Committee.

Alex is very familiar with ATI as both a former employee and commercial client.  Alex’s enthusiasm, drive, and analytical mind are several of the attributes that he brings to the firm. He also has the unique experience of merchandising along the Illinois Waterway Delivery System.  In his free time, he enjoys coaching his children’s hockey and soccer teams, and spending time with his family where they built a home at his family’s winery in rural Metamora.
