Market looks to the Southern Hemisphere

Ag Marketing IQ: USDA’s September numbers show lower production but higher stocks, begging a global answer to the supply question.

USDA’s end-of-month Grain Stocks report showed higher feed use in corn, but didn’t change supplies much. September 1 corn stocks were 1.76 billion bushels, 86 million below the trade average and barely above the low end of the 1.754-2.017 bbu range. This number is somewhat friendly.
