Michael has been managing hog, cattle, dairy, and crop price risk for producers for the last 20 years. He is an advisor and travels to meet livestock producers throughout the Midwest. He also leads a weekly educational discussion called The Pork School.

Before joining ATI in 2015, he was a consultant/manager/broker for livestock producers with CIH in Chicago for 7 years.

Mike began his career in agriculture working with the Commercial Ag division for RJO'Brien. He managed risk for cattle and hog producers and helped manage risk for ethanol plants as that industry was getting off the ground.

When not working, he enjoys fly fishing for trout and coaching little league for at-risk youth in Aurora, Illinois.
